Kansas City stormed back from a 20-10 deficit in the fourth quarter against the San Francisco 49ers to prevail 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV, of which Mahomes was named MVP.
His heroics in Miami followed a 2018 campaign that saw Mahomes named league MVP in his first full season as Kansas City’s starting quarterback.
